There are many meanings that you could visualize while interpreting this quote. First everyone meets in the beginning to form a team. They form a team to reach a certain goal and they make a commitment to work together in a team. In the beginning all the employees should meet each other and develop a relation as from now they have to work together in team. All the members should be able to interpret each other ideas. They should be open-minded and be willing to correct the mistakes in the other partner’s idea as everyone makers mistake in the beginning and then learn from the mistakes. If all the team members could understand the thoughts of the other teammate and be willing to incorporate their ideas towards the final project, this is a sign of a very strong team. The members of this team have good chemistry with each other and also be very honest to each other. When the team comes together then the teammates gets different kinds of ideas.. The second part of this quote means that when the teammates work together they make progress towards reaching the final goal. When a team sticks together they give each other responsibility based on there weakness and strengths. They understand each other ideas and develops plan to reach the team goal. As a team they should handle the situation in a way that other teams are inspired by their progress and their final product. The team that handles the situation well is making progress towards reaching their final goal. When a team is making progress towards the final product the team gets used to reaching success towards every step they take. The last part of this quote means when a team works together they reach success at the end. As the team works together they make up a final project, which has been compiled together with everyone’s contributions and their thoughts. As they work together they receive success due to their handwork and determination to perceive success. By working together in a team they will get success and will reach towards their goal.

Challenges to leadership

In my point of view I think that leader is choose after seeing all the qualities of a good leader. There are many things that depend on a leader and all the team members’ work according to the leader. There are many challenges that leader will face and he/she should be able to face the challenges to lead their team. The team can fail if they do not have good leader to lead them, as there are many things which depends on a leader. Leadership is a very powerful tool in making successful team. The main roles of leader are to clear the employees about their task and seeing that the employees are doing properly or not. They have to solve the problems of the team and give them a solution a their problems. It is the responsibility of leader that everyone work well together, contribute their part to overall goal of the team and to see that everyone stays on the task.  The intelligent leader focus on major issue of the company and work on it to resolve the conflict. There are many other kind of challenges that the leader have to face and by facing these challenges the leader become strong and plays a major role in making a successful team. The leader should have an effective system for measuring the success and work on the weak points if the company. The leader should maintain the trust between the employees, as trust is very important among the team as by trust the team runs smoothly. To become a good leader leader you should be consistent, honest and should have other qualities in him/her. If the leader faces all types of challenges then he/she is able to lead his/her team in positive way and be successful in leading the team in a right way. The leader should be strong and should be prepared to face all types of problems. (brox, 2015)

what makes team effective?

In my prospective there are many things that makes the team effective. Each person has his/her role in the team that makes it effective and it is very important to be effective to become successful. Effective team can contribute to the success of the team. Every employee contributes his/her role in the team. It is the hard work of all the team members to make the team effective.
There are many things that make the effective, which I will discuss, below-
§  Clear performance goal- there should be clear goals in the company so that everyone is clear about their performance. The performance goals should be set for the employees and should be make clear to them. If the goal is clear then everyone will put his or her effort to complete the goal and be successful in it. (rob, n.d.)
§  Meaningful common purpose- A common goal is understanding of what the team is trying to achieve and toward which they are working. There should be common goal for team as if there are different goals for everyone that efforts of the employees will go in wrong direction that is why it is very important to set common goal so that everyone work in one direction and and fulfill their goal.
§  Diversity- Diversity relates to personality, skill, age, religious belief and other things. Diversity plays an important role in making the team effective as in this there are different types of people have different thinking and different beliefs and by this new ideas are generated which makes it effective. When there is more diversity we get different point of view in which we can incorporate the viewpoints and beliefs of everyone. (rob, n.d.)

There are many other things, which makes the team effective. I think that the people should be responsible and honest with there work and if people are following it properly then the team will be effective. (rob, n.d.)

Role and responsibility of leadership

Leader is one who leads the team. There are many roles that are played by the team leader and there are many responsibilities on leader. In the company it is very important that team members understand their roles properly and work according to their role. A leader gives roles to the employees according to their ability. (chetna, n.d.)

The two main types of roles are-
Ø  Task roles-in this people use their energy and their knowledge in order to complete their task. There are different types of task given to people according to their ability. (chetna, n.d.)
Ø  Maintance roles-in this people maintain their relations among them and try to maintain among all team members. (chetna, n.d.)

In my point of view there are many responsibility on the team leader as he/she is the head of the team and it their responsibility to lead the team. There should be open and clear communication in the team so that everybody understands the instructions properly and work accordingly. If there is open and clear communication among all team members then everything runs smoothly which results in positive results. The leader should be clear while communication. The leader should maintain cooperative relationship among team as it is very effective in team as by this every employee give his/her idea and by combining all the ideas they can produce that which cannot be produces by a single person. It is the team leader who has responsibility to build relationship among all the employees. (chetna, n.d.)
I think that the leader should be honest as there are many things that depend on the leader as other people follow the leader on which many things depends. If the leader is responsible then everything runs smoothly. The leader should be intelligent and hard working and should be know properly about his/her role and responsibility. (chetna, n.d.)

making of successful teams


Making of Successful teams

 

In my prospective team is like a puzzle we have to arrange each part in a proper way and then start the work. Teamwork is very important part in everything. Without teamwork it is very difficult to reach the goals because every person plays his or her role in reaching the goal.  Every person has some positive and some negative points in them but when they work as a team and work on their goals then they can achieve anything by working in a team. Every person’s ideas are valuable as every person has different thinking and have different ideas so there ideas are valuable. In every team there should be one leader who has all the skills in him/her to lead a team. (MacWilliam, n.d.)
I had one chance to be a team leader in my life that was when I was in grade 10 .It is the responsibility of a team leader to make a successful team. Some of the characteristics of making of the successful teams are

  • Clear objective-team leader should set the objective for the employees and the employees should be clear with the objective of the company and should work on the company objectives.
  • Balance roles-Every employee should be given equal role according to his/her ability. There should be balance between their roles.
  • Effective process-leader should follow effective process in making a team. There should be proper planning in making a team and then after making it is the responsibility of the leader to implement the plan and reviewing it time to time.
  • Support and trust-team leader should trust his/her employees and support them in every problem they are facing. There should be trust between team leader and their employees.

Sound inter-group relation-there should be good relation between each department and agencies each valuing and respecting the others. (MacWilliam, n.d.)

  •  If employees follow some basic steps then it is possible to make an effective team and reach every goal of the company by working in a team. (MacWilliam, n.d.)
